11月9日はいい靴の日でした。いい靴と言えばバレエ映画赤い靴(The Red Shoes 1948英)。新聞紙と踊る場面が有名で漫画サイボーグ009の赤い靴という話の元ネタです。アニメ2001年版でも子供の頃の003が見た映画として登場(歳が...)。

小津安二郎「風の中の牝鶏」観る前にだいたいのあらすじ読んでから観たんだけどやはりなかなかハードな作品でしたね。あ、この階段すごい急だな、、と思いながら観てたらやっぱりそんな感じでヤバいやつでした。みんな貧乏が悪いんや〜(笑)めちゃ面白かったです。

It’s fitting that Turhan Bey should steal the show as THE AMAZING MR. X (1948), a bogus seer putting the squeeze on socialite Lynn Bari, but cinematographer John Alton is the perfect partner in crime. The Crane Wilbur story is no great shakes but you can’t look away.
