In Medieval Bestiary's Elephants & Dragons were often show as bitter enemies. Elephants in these books were depicted as chaste & firginal, and Dragons were the seductive Chads. Also Dragons wanted to drink their blood cause it was cold, and Dragons had spicy mouths...true story.
