'Shy Sweetheart' ~ Gerard Dillon.

Although most of his adult life was spent in London, Dillon chiefly exhibited in Ireland, holding exhibitions both in Dublin and Belfast. Being a self-taught artist, he was perhaps naturally drawn to a free-form expressive style in painting.
