And aspects of the placards do resemble some of Bearden’s known works, such as the rendering of the women’s heads in his 1941 painting The Visitation https://t.co/5PgeLtEbsZ

A great deal of evidence points to Bearden as the most likely creator of those painted placards. For one, they don’t look like Douglas’s signature silhouetted figures of that period

Hi I'm 1yla! Thanks for doing this :)
It's basic but my favourite animal is dogs, more specifically duck tollers & bearded collies :D

A bearded dragon is another friend I would like someday

I really like the red ones and the white ones but I realize morphs cost more

A drawing I did for an Xmas present for my sister in law

Random story behind it; she owns a bearded dragon that she describes as having the temperament of a 30s gangster, which is why he looks like this

Framed and gift wrapped, she liked it 😎

When Thomas Nast published a series of drawings of Santa Claus for Harper’s Weekly from 1863-1866 he helped create the fatherly figure in red that we know today, proving his white bearded, fur-cloaked, pipe-smoking Pelznickel predated Coca Cola's Santa by almost 70 yrs 🎅
