Maybe it's strange, I honestly don't know, I like to think so.
In music, I like to think of it as a mix of religious choirs/chants, heavy percussion, violin, trumpets, and dissonance. Not necessarily brutal, but eerie.

It's very different to control a brush. My mom used to not let me paint because "you'll make a mess". I became a hell of a draftsman because pencils didn't elicit that same thing. I feel like I'm still dealing with the repercussions. Pencil versus watercolor.
