Happy anniversary to Street Fighter II: the World Warrior! The game was so big that even people who I'd never heard talk about games before were excited about it. The arcades here weren't dead before it, but definitely got more active once this game hit.

Unlike most people, I did NOT learn how to play the game with Ryu/Ken. The best player in the arcade (at the beach, I was on vacation) was a dude on a wheelchair who was a Blanka player, and I learned from him. In SF2, Blanka is my original comfort character 😄🇧🇷
