Lyrical Ladies: our penultimate #WilliamWednesday featuring work of Nazarene painter Wilhelm von Schadow (1789-1862). Aiming to revive spirituality in art, 'Nazarene' came as a term of derision used against them for their affectation of a biblical manner of clothing & hair style.
Some artpieces done by me, all of those are reproductions, so it is not my original idea.
The first two are originally watercolors by Louis Wain, a wonderful artist famous for his cat portraits.
The 3rd one is “Ducklings at the lagoon” by the painter Eliseu Visconti
