used my very good printing paper to print this self-indulgent painting and! i don’t usually print on matte paper bc it kills my colors but in this case it makes my brushestrokes rly stand out. god i love it. and them 😭

Even when painting digitally, I still want you to see my brushstrokes and even a little linework. Respect to people who approach rendering with photorealism, but there's something about seeing the impressionistic strokes in a rendering that says 'hey someone painted this!'
