12. Fantastic Four vs. X-Men 1-4. Claremont and Bogdanove doing Fantastic Four by way of X-Men means every character gets put through the wringer and broken down to their emotional core so they can be built back up. Really confident storytelling, heartbreaking AND lots of fun.
On to the "antagonists", starting with the leader of the Chocolate Triangle (the Cocoa cousins) is Laiche Bon-Bon. Laiche is a transgender girl who's most confident at school, where she feels accepted. Usually, she gets what she wants.
