I tried to draw my character CMYK as a hedgehog in a more sonic-esque style to see if my proportions/style are the reason nobody cares about my art

it was kinda fun tho

except for the checkered pattern that was painful

it's the eyes and mouth man, they have the bandwidth to push that in the film while it feels less priority in the games. I'd rather keep the proportions/mono eye we have now and just push the expressions a little more. They do it great in the comics!
