Now that the sale is over, I want to share some more WIP screengrabs of the design. My initial chosen colours were very saturated and poppy. I changed it to warmer hues for a comfier look. I also debated final shirt color (blue or red)

I was drawing Evelyn and after I finished the lineart and did good part of the painting, I thought the drawing could be better with some perspective. Now that I changed I'm not sure if it got better, I just remain undecided, as usual. I think I will end up doing both

I think we got pretty great designs in the end.
But I do wonder how the fight (and maybe even the story?) would have changed, if the soul fight looked even more different than the second form.
Some of these designs are really worlds apart from each other.

Funny enough at first I decided to add background and more color change to this, but then I changed my mind and didn’t post this :0000
