Recently finished the main storyline of RF3! Guess which bachelorette I chose XD

I tried a lot of lighting stuff, experimenting with filters, gradient and different brushes, it was really fun trying out new stuff for this piece. Hope it looks decent!

Managed to finish my second attack offstream. This was an enjoyable piece! The gradient on those wing feathers was so fun to work with.

My part of an art trade with @ rainb0t on Instagram!

This is her original character, Quinn. I really like her outfit and purple hair, so gradients were a must.

(By the way, this was made completely using vectors! It's a lot of work, but the resulting style is worth it!)

🍰🧁☕️ Vanille’s redesign is very simple but I really like her gradient hair and aesthetic which is very pink and sweet. She works in a bakery while studying to be a pastry chef and have her own bakery, although she is always busy she loves to take tim… https://t.co/mPEBK6kfBN

Light also works best when you don't overdo it. think what way the light is moving and use a single or as few as possible brush strokes to create the light. Use an eraser or mask to define it more. Light is also a gradient more often than not.

Before applying the gradient, you should also consider whether light or dark will be the focal point. In many cases, if you want something bright to the the focal point, give the background a dark gradient, if the focal point is something dark, make it light.

Art Fight drawing of staridae's Nameless
It's pretty fun to mess with gradients and space type characters
This was one I planned doing last year but ended up not getting to it.
Was a friendly fire I guess so no points for this one.

AHhhH god I wanted to get more of these done. Wanted to show my support for pride but haven't had much time to draw, so slipping one in before the month ends.

The pH indicators I use in the lab come up with a lot of cool gradients -- this is one I can produce.

Texture-paint, Materials, Gradients and PixelArt a few 3D styles that I've got comfortable working in, my issue is always the more I learn in terms of styles, I feel unsure what I want to focus on and I never get anything done x'D

I know I'm spamming WIPs this week but I'm figuring out a new workflow using gradient maps differently (more selectively for local colors) than I used to and it feels REALLY COOL okay
