One of the most stunning presentation in an action game. The gameplay is solid, I had a really fun moments, whether riding a bike, climbing a broken elevator or fight a giant monster on a mech. One of the best and enjoyable shooter of the last decade. 9/10

The Cadets defy orders and attack the Sharg Mothership. Greg Pak elaborates on both the ground and space action, but the story is slowing down just a bit as a result. I do love Takeshi Miyazawa and Triona Farrell’s detailed, but still energetic art. 3.5/5

I always liked muted colors and a number of Japanese artists use them very well. Or maybe they just know how to give the illusion of desaturation. Pair that with some sketchy linework and paint and you have my art heart.
