Holding Space XIV [The First Week of June 2020]
(Started May 28th, 2020.)
so the high school vs current art challenge thing is going around & i didn't actually start doing art till uni
bUT i thought i'd share this anyway to mark progress.
these pics are one year apart - the 1st took me an hour while the 2nd (from today) took 25 min.
Mapmaking: #RomanceofthePerilousLand - I think all the maps here on out will take longer, they get bigger the more north you get. But so you can get an idea of the work going into them, here's Lyonesse in progress. I aim to finish it in the next day or so, fingers crossed.
More progress. I might stop here and try some other things next. :D
Changing that one tree slightly for example, to practice reusing existing sprites. Or making different trees and bushes in general.
