I like the idea and I love skulls, skeletons because of their perfection. You brought a little tension to a simple skull composition with a living cute little animal.
Could this contrast be a little dramatized? Just a thought!

Another update to Millenium Battle, though I've got stuff to work out with the battle system, this shows some menu and map and how leveling up is done.. Guess I'll stick with Wingless Sarah music until I compose an OST later XD.

Digital Painter/ Concept Character Artist n Writer

There are a lot of artists out there that inspired me on some ways (old times and newer ones alike) so my inspirations are too composite.

But if there’s one that influence me- it’s Tolkien

I did loosely reference historical knight armor, but only for the rough shape and how light reflects on it. The composition is mine too. More than anything I’m inspired by a modern artist: Ruan Jia, but I didn’t steal anything. Here’s an early version of the painting

'Reflections: China and Japan'~ Sir William Orpen, (1902)

This is a virtuoso still life painting which demonstrates Orpen's facility at depicting texture and reflective surfaces with flair and skill, and with less emphasis placed on a coherent compositional arrangement.

I'll start!
So, the reasons I don't like this one I mostly due to colour choices and the background, the composition is super lacking and the colours are just too harsh. I haven't put enough contrast in, which makes the panel bit confusing to me 😬

here were my 3 composition pitches for this piece - as the whelpling pictured here also hangs around a tavern and eats lots of fish. I'd originally considered going a lot cuter with them but we went with the moodier option!
