久秀の妻、に該当する女性は何人か居るがその内の一人・保子は権大納言広橋国光の妹で従一位関白左大臣・一条兼冬の未亡人

保子は1564年に亡くなるが、久秀は大林宗套ら高僧を招いて盛大に弔い、堺の南宗寺に勝善院を建てて追善した
