So this is my add in to the thing. Though the original image is actually from 2006 or 7. This period was when I really cracked down and got super passionate about art. 13 years later and I'm still drawing cute anime shit, despite being classically trained. XD

so I HAVE to jump on the train, bc 2009 was THE year I got into digital art and got...a deviantart account 🤣 I used to draw a tON of death note fanart, one of my favs that year was Mello in Seifuku. Um yes I gotta redraw it?! 🥴 What a way to end this decade...wow🤠

Some art! Look! I learned how to shade with pencils!

It was hard to find two pictures from each year that were comparable in coloring style that didn't look basically like there was no improvement at all. My digital coloring style hasn't changed much in a decade.

I know I’m late to this party, but I happened to be back home this week and went digging for the first sketchbook I ever kept! I was 15 in 2009 and I drew so lightly on the paper, you could hardly see it! Character design has always been my thing though!
