you know these wack ass shoes that medieval men used to wear. they’re called poulaines and apparently there’s a lot of archaeological records of men who used to wear them having fractures in their arm bones because these mfs were always tripping and falling tf down
For my second book on my quest to unite #comicstwitter and #classicstwitter I'm going with one of my favorites: Age of Bronze. Created by Eisner winner Eric Shanower it tells the story of the Trojan War and does a great job of being literately and archaeologically accurate.
