This time I drew a lil doodle of Pox as a Lonomia obliqua caterpillar, and a quick sketch of Commander Sturm as a mutant Garden Tiger Moth.

"Caterpillar, or pug?"

I initially wanted him to spiral throughout and fill the page, but I don't have enough ink in these colors to do so right now. You can kind of see my purple and blue starting to die in the segments to the left of the page.

I was thinking about Mint the Fairy as a caterpillar, adult, and in "full-power" forms, and I realized she is kind of like a Pokemon...

I'm doing an art challenge every month. For the month of December I'm looking back on the year 2021.

Tooth Fairy - Tiny Alice, small enough to hide in a tea cup.
Chelsea - the Caterpillar (Absolem). I mean, she WAS once a caterpillar, so this makes sense. (And no, she's not actually smoking.)
Pluffydoze - Sparky, aka, "Frankenweenie". You can kinda see it, right?

By the way, the caterpillar posted a picture of is called the eastern tiger swallowtail caterpillar, which the Pokémon Caterpie is based on. So technically she's right.

I believe there's magic in everything! Through my music audiobook Chris the Caterpillar, children learn to believe in magic. I love the fairy in the story because she is so playful and spirited. We need to hold on to our ability to be like that, even when times are difficult. 💗
