Utharaptor was a dromaeosaurid dinosaur that lived in the Lower Cretaceous in North America, it is one of the largest dromaeosaurid dinosaurs, reaching the same size as a grizzly bear

@jutyrannus Not really. We've had semi-aquatic Spino, which actually aged pretty well, & there were semi-aquatic dromaeosaurs. Plus swimming theropods aren't uncommon in paleo-media.
Tercer y último paso de un boceto en mal papel que no supe calcar a tiempo!! Pero...

@WryCritic Your art inspired me, and I did a little traditional Polish design, replacing the usual chicken with a little dromaeosaur! Thank you for all your awesome art!!

Dino Fact!
Pyroraptor (Fire Thief) is a dromaeosaurid from Late Cretaceous France! Its name is a reference to its discovery, as its first fossils were uncovered after a large forest fire in 1992! As mentioned in the Dino Fact for Variraptor, the- (1/2)

I just made a public post on my patreon explaining the influences for these retro dromaeosaur designs. There are definitely a few that nobody has identified so far. Read the post here https://t.co/tJtRuT22yn
@Jon_de_Queso since the dudes in the lrt are presumably dromaeosaurids, here are some lovely velociraptors by @SerpenIllus ! throw jurassic park/world to the curb and invest your time in THESE lovely guys!
second one of the redesigns i did recently. this one used to be a bipedal feathered dragon, so i decided to go in a more dromaeosaurid like direction. my friend suggested skunk as an inspiration for the colours, so i used that mainly for the tail
Time again to show love for the Dromaeosauridae, a clade of birdlike, predatory maniraptoran dinosaurs!! First image is a fantastic illustration by the very talented artist @SerpenIllus. Long ago in the ancient days of the United Kingdom, during the Early Cretaceous Period. In
Dromaeosaurus. Just for clarity, I'm including the featherless versions to show the underlying anatomy, not because it is in any way likely that that's how they looked in life.
Newest #watercolor is #Atrociraptor. Known only from some skull and teeth, this #dromaeosaur lived in what is now #Alberta, #Canada, in the late Cretaceous. Get ready for a much uglier version of it in the upcoming #JurassicWorldDominion movie. #scicomm #paleoart #dinosaur
