Unenlagia, an unenlagiine dromaeosaurid that lived in Cretaceous South America
A large titanosaur, Futalognkosaurus, walks in the background
Decided to dig a little deeper in that #LittleWitchAcademia #dinosaur and can promptly say that it might be a species of large Dromaeosauridae known as Austroraptor Cabazai! Albeit it is missing features such as feathers and wings while also having broken wrists and a tongue..
- the Isle of Wight and some paleontologists believe those teeth might belong to Vectiraptor, but they haven't been officially attributed to it yet! Based on current estimates, it was actually quite big for a dromaeosaurid, reaching 8.2–9.8 feet long! (2/2)

Natovenator from the Late Cretaceous, the most recent dromaeosaurid species found in Mongolia #paleoart
- the usual 3! It also uniquely possessed 2 sickle claws, instead of having one or none at all! It was once classified as a member of the Dromaeosauridae family, but recent studies have argued in favor of it being an early flightless bird instead! (2/2)

-relatives like Utahraptor! It was initially also classified as a genus of dromaeosaurid, but this is no longer thought to be the case, as it lacked many traits that are associated with dromaeosaurids, most notably its lack of the infamous sickle toe claw! (2/2)

Achillobator (Achilles Hero) is a dromaeosaurid from Late Cretaceous Asia! It was relatively large and robust for a dromaeosaurid, but something that really sets it apart from its relatives was oddly, its hip structure! It had a pubis bone - (1/2)

Dineobellator (Diné Warrior) is a dromaeosaurid from Late Cretaceous North America! Analysis of the skeleton showed that its hands and feet were much more flexible than those of many other dromaeosaurs, plus its tail had a wide range of - (1/2)

Bambiraptor (Bambi Thief) is a dromaeosaurid from Late Cretaceous North America! It was named after the famous Disney character due to how tiny it was, the holotype specimen in particular was a juvenile that was less than a meter long! Some- (1/2)

@DustinGrowick im a huge fan of all dromaeosauridae but my top two would be the iconic Velociraptor, or the underrated Microraptor!!!
The Past Dictates The Future~
Little tribute to outdated raptors (+ old depictions of dinosaurs in general), because i love them. I myself draw feathered dromaeosaurids left and right, but i find the retro critters still cool, nevermind any inaccuracy. 🦖
