Although almost entirely unrelated, to me, Gazimon and Gizamon are Partners in crime.

I really want them to get Protagonist evolines where they stay quadrupeds but gain armour/rustic parts and get bigger and more grizzled.

It's not really an official digivolution line, but Gazimon's my favorite and he doesn't have any real Digivolutions for himself. although even here, it's missing a couple stages. I'll probably just make up my own OC Digimon for Gazimon to Digivolve into.

I can't help but notice they're drawing Gazimon more akin to the 'original' Bandai artwork design instead of the usual look. With it being quadruple with slightly longer face.
