Maybe I should just call this my year for 'GitS.' I just kept expanding the cast and figuring out more about the world and lore throughout this entire year, and it was a long time coming. It was always just a fun "side project" but, at this point, it's got my all of my attention.
The bones of the fingers and toes are called phalanx (phalanges) after the Ancient Greek army formation. The rows of soldiers are like the arrangement of the digits. The word phalanx originates from the Greek word for log. Now you know!
