so the goombas, boos, pirahna plants and bloopers are essentially mutated dinosaurs that spawned from the bottom half of a yoshi egg, while the top half was in the mountains
and then a starstorm happened which knocked the eggs into each other, fusing them into the yoshi species
he kinda looks like a goomba here if you look at it the right way . like he has really really big feet and like the goomba type body but with arms
