A Viatkogorgon enjoys a fish (Platysomus sp.) while keeping his eyes peeled for trouble by a river in Late Permian Russia. Viatkogorgon is small Gorgonopsid, about the size of a Fisher, and details of it's anatomy suggest it to be a good swimmer...apparently.
@JuliotheArtist On the Left is a Gorgonops i drew for, made in December 2019, and on the right, a Kaiju Concept.
It’s the next installment of the Giga #OC Illustration Project, and also the Iggyverse Villains Edition! Ft. Amonduul (not-dermon lord), Claudius (anthro gorgonopsid general) Farouz (basically fantasy Satan) and Luciana (evil mage lady)
Doodled up a gorgonopsid inspired by some really regal hairless dogs. Permian animals need more love

Start of a new set of sketches. Gangs of Jurassic Park. First off, a Gorgonopsid (Premian pre-mammal sort of thing).
Gorgonopsids have such cool skull structure so I definitely had to draw Mars for @aainsleyyactual! #artfight
@FishGuyKai Genus, Gorgonops, was a synapsid (early relative of mammals with reptilian characteristics) named after the gorgons. Name means “Gorgon face”
Stasja and Borres in profile. These are my gorgonopsid characters for a board rpg thing, sketches last night over beer
Stasja ja Borres, gorgonopseja Kadotettu Saari -ropee varten, en oo tussannut ja värittänyt juttuja ikuisuuksiin mutta ehkä tämä tästä!

It's about time for me to get real with the moominverse gorgonopsid. Big inspirations would be Ancestors and Muskrat.

Ok seriously tho, where's the love for Dinocephalians? These things were bloody insane yet it seems nobody really cares much about them? I mean of course this applies to a lot of Permian stuff, but you still get the occasional gorgonopsid and obligatory Dimetrodon every blue moon https://t.co/CxW4EHMIUa
