The Roman Empire at its largest. No state before or since has controlled the entirety of the Mediterranean. The Romans called the Mediterranean “Mare Nostrum” or “Our Sea.”
"Mansa Musa went on hajj to Mecca in 1324, traveling with an enormous entourage and a vast supply of gold."
"News of the Malian empire's city of wealth even traveled across the Mediterranean to southern Europe, where traders added Timbuktu to their maps to trade"
This is Hannah, and she is the girl who lived. Her special talent is reflecting evil with her endless love, innocence and curiosity in others. Problems dissolve in her presence and she loves to cook with nightshades in her primarily Mediterranean-based (and delicious) diet. https://t.co/F6bQbiHOie
That one time Lebanon almost won the bid to host an F1 track back in 1999. The plan designed by IDEA was to build a 4.1 KM racing circuit along the Mediterranean coast through the downtown area and there were high hopes that Beirut’s bid to host a Grand Prix would be approved.

some detail shots!! rly love the posing and perspective i did for this one, and also the little touches like the beach-related objects (towel, drink, slippers)
this one was inspired by mediterranean rocky beaches and i've also wanted to do a beach-themed drawing for a while
Totally off theme Hoplostethus mediterraneus for #SundayFishSketch. Their common name is the silver roughy, or Mediterranean slimehead. Despite the unfortunate nickname, they're actually quite beautiful. I hope I did it justice.

Hello #otometwt! If you like dark fantasy and feel like something short (and free!), why not try Shadow Bonds for #indiedevhour?
A sun-drenched Mediterranean city is the backdrop of this tale of blood, shadows and romance🖤

"Abstraction 51" This work reminds me of the feel the summer evening breeze. The sky was ablaze and the Mediterranean colors vibrant. #AbstractArt #AbstractArtist #Expressionism https://t.co/QiKhejEkJD

Now that we've known the name of the Paldea region for a while and seen the map, which existing Pokémon are you hoping will get a Paldean form, and what Iberian/Mediterranean twist would you give them?
