191 - Sunkern
Type: Grass
It is very weak. Its only means of defense is to shake its leaves desperately at its attacker.

Redesign: Sunkern & Sunflora
Sunkern (Grass type)
~It has very hard shell to protect it's weak body from it's predator.
Sunflora (Grass/Fire type)
~While absorbing the sunlight it also absorb the nutrients of the soil which help it's body to grow bigger.

So I intended to have last night’s piece as a “finale” but just like @chuggaaconroy I couldn’t resist a bonus 😂 partially to test out a new app, but mainly to pay tribute to Victim, the Sunkern who “lived” through Chamomile’s atomic slap 🥊

Beta Sunkern:
In August 1999, a demo of Gold & Silver was exhibited at Space World '99 in Japan. Sunkern was completely different in the demo compared to how it appeared in G&S's final build.

Today's pokemon hour in pokemongo was on Sunkern. Decided to draw this cutie. :з
Here is my 3rd beta pokemon sprite interpretation, this time i think it's beta sunkern? Hard to tell without names or order. At the very least it's a better sunkern. I call him sunspore.

Beta Sunflora:
In Gold & Silver's 1997 demo, Sunflora was an unevolved Grass/Psychic Pokemon named "Sanii" (Sunny). But he was later renamed, redesigned, and given Sunkern as a pre-evolution.

No. 191: Sunkern
Seed Pokémon
Sunkern try to minimize movement to conserve the nutrients they have stored in their bodies for evolution. They will not eat, subsisting only on morning dew.
I also made this little guys!! Theyre very,, yellow.
Sunkern looks..suspect.
