So, there's a bandwagon on FB called #AF_AU about school of marine animal gijinkas, here is my entry because no one using parasitic invertebrates at that time
I really want to write any marine animal facts that i see on this tag, if when im on mood ofc
@zonator @PlanetaceO @depressionbomb @alpha_ionone Like earthly vertebrates they take on many, many, many forms, adapting to their environments. Due to the planet‘s higher biomass there is not only enormous amounts of biodiversity but also bigger life than what we currently have on Earth!

Day 4: Evolution
A diverse set of invertebrates from the coloring book I made a couple of years ago.
Wesbelle are small water bug Zokai which hunt for tiny invertebrates in ponds and lakes. Their little claws are great for this, but aren't very effective against other Zokai.

Kelp and Sea Otter for #SciArtSeptember day 20 word prompt of “Botanical.” Without sea otters eating sea urchins and other invertebrates that dine on giant kelp, the underwater botanical forests could be devoured to non-existence. @liz_lagomorph & @FlyingTrilobite.
Ocepechelon from the Late Cretaceous is one of the largest turtles ever. It had a bony, tube-shaped snout which is unique in four-limbed vertebrates.

With the focus on Ubirajara lately, I think it's a good time to point out that the AMNH has a large collection of Brazilian fossils that were acquired illegally. It includes pterosaurs like this Anhanguera sp. (AMNH 22555) as well as a multitude of fishes and invertebrates.
@ProfessorFatal2 Of course not! Deuvertebrates are the main clade of animal-like organisms on Phtanum B. They are characterized by pyrite bones, two spinal columns, often at least 6 to 8 limbs and an eyeless appearing „head“ on a sort of neck-arm. Here are some examples!
I don’t know exactly why but it sure is a bummer. Here’s my Morturneria feeding off invertebrates on the bottom of an iceberg https://t.co/BvseZR31yr
The O’ahu ‘Akepa is today’s #Pacificbird. Now extinct for over 120 years, it fed on invertebrates in wet forests at a range of altitudes. Habitat destruction and disease including avian malaria, feral pigs and invasive predators are blamed for their demise.

The Oʻahu ʻalauahio (Paroreomyza maculata) is a Critically Endangered #Pacificbird native to O’ahu. Last reliably seen in 1985, it's likely extinct. This honeycreeper ate invertebrates and habitat loss and malaria are key threats

Here's a little more stupid. This should tide you over for the weekend. #insect #insects #science #biology #invertebrates
As I await the final, final okay to ink the cover for my next graphic novel, I felt the need to put a few bits of stupid into the world. Here's the first one. #insect #insects #invertebrates #biology #science
American 1800s naturalist and artist Andrew Garrett collected and studied Pacific Island mollusks, fish, corals, and other invertebrates, also drawing and painting many fishes and shells 🐚🐠Check out his watercolor collection, held at @mayrlibrary: https://t.co/f0uanwDvwi
New paper alert! CIA member @LauraBPorro and colleagues @JimBobJud, @gimpasaura, and @jemilyr explore cranial anatomy the early tetrapod 𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡𝑐ℎ𝑒𝑒𝑟𝑖𝑎 𝑑𝑒𝑙𝑡𝑎𝑒. Find out how well one of the earliest vertebrates on dry land could bite! https://t.co/KbfEcelpxU
These are Lummeer! The species that started it all. I made them back in like 2016 in the middle of the night and they’ve come a long way since!
They’re omnivores who eat plants and invertebrates. Instead of a shell they have a rubbery coating that is very tough to pierce.
Moon snails to sea stars! Sketching marine invertebrates in the lab and field @shoalsmarinelab.
