Growing up in the 70s, by far the most exciting books in the library were the series. Great stories, full colour comic strips, historical reference & excellent drawings by a massive influence without me even knowing!

Saddened to here that co-creator & illustrator of has passed away. met writer & editor René Goscinny in 1951, collaborating on many projects together. In 1959 they introduced Asterix to the world. Loved the reading the books when I was younger. RIP ✏
