I made an “extinct Cambrian arthropod matching game” by request of my sister for Xmas. Here are some of my favorites.
(anomalocaris, marella, habelia, burgessia)
#aigeneratedtouhou I based off of an anomalocaris. I kind of wanted her to be sailor-ish themed, but only the colors reflect that. Either way she's baby☺️A sharp baby https://t.co/l51bwffCXC
Opabinia and Anomalocaris looking festive for the holiday season! And a school of Waptia doing their best impression of a string of lights.

@SexCasper @ThoughtSlime I study animals from the Cambrian, so they’re my go-to subjects. Particularly animals known as Radiodonts and Lobopods (Hallucigenia, Opabinia, Anomalocaris, the whole gang)
Todays first Ecological Horror is the Anomalocaris!
This was an apex predator of it's time, even thought to be the very fist apex predator. It was a very good swimmer, most likely gliding through water. It's thougt to be the fiercest creature from the Cambrian period.
Anomalocaris
Just anomalocaris. This was supposed to be a part of my homework, but it got rejected. I drew this in less than an hour, and I was surprised when I found out about it. It usually takes be 3-5 hours to make something like this.

Pastel Paleotober Day 17: Anomalocaris 🦐
At up to 38 centimeters, Anomalocaris was a colossal apex predator for the early to mid Cambrian seas of Canada, China, and Australia. It used its curved mouth parts to catch prey and transfer them to its disk-shaped mouth parts.
Burgess Shale fauna as rendered by @get_starryai based on text prompts. Chose the “psychedelic” art style for these because obviously
Featuring:
“Opabinia”
“Marrella”
“Hallucigenia”
And my fave, “Anomalocaris”

@mysillycomics what is our stance on ancient animals. can the humble anomalocaris come.
@fuzzychinchilla yeah the more recent fossils are all kinda boring, the old ones had like anomalocaris and stuff
