I'm digging through my old portfolio folders. I discovered that nine years ago I drew myself as an "anime boy." It is both nostalgic and slightly embarrassing...I also drew myself as a "sweaty addled guy who holds robot arms" which I refuse to contextualize.
Updated/ More detailed sheet for reference information of Luete :D - Lots of things here but it's all very important \o/
Eventually [soon 👀] his novel will be done and available! Till then here's some sketches and text! All the detail is much more contextualized in the books.
So for context I made a comic thing with all of these great chibis from ZeroYama to contextualize them <3
The great tragedy of the situation is that Rogue’s extreme interpretations want (or demand) to be challenged and contextualized by a friend/peer, but she is young and racked with guilt. She keeps her pain to herself, and suffers because of it. 6/7
London Calling is great because it manages to recontextualize the thief chase in Reflections too. When Tracer initially decides to leave the suspect to the cops, then changes her mind, her motive is visibly to return the goods while sparing the thief from the police.
So I finished all of 'Fleabag' and I've been trying to contextualize 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 scene from 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 episode. Clearly I'm not doing a good job but I remember a post that described it sort of as, "the mortifying feeling of being known."
Um, no thank you.
Contextualized, this trite existential crisis on proverbial paper has the same energy as these:

They travel the world on a Zeppelin called Mandjet! I just loved the idea of mythology being recontextualized! 😂 I'm still bummed that it was passed over but I'm still gonna try to make it happen in the future, somehow?
Rachel is a good example of how much Krakoa has recontextualized Mutants’ relationships to their powers. Rachel’s abilities made her the perfect hound and now she’s using them to bring mutants home
Mock up.
Finally got rid of the Alien Soldier placeholder.
I want the tutorial to be in a school's stage contextualized as a STEM demonstration for watching students. Before the robots kidnap them.
Curtain based on manipulated photo- needs cleanup. Font is from Freedom Planet.
@LNDRdev @diburmusic I also think that the bright palette is better contextualized in a retro aesthetic. It gives the graphics a bright early-to-mid-SNES feel.
Still, the beauty is that it's easy to do a master edit to the files and adjust your palette. Which's why I'm keeping the OG palettes :D
It isn't too common in kid's media to have a "nice" thing like gift giving be part of a narrative of someone treating you badly. Givings kids stories in which "nice" deeds are contextualized is vital to better understand powerdynamics and/or ill intent. This was a good addition💅
Happy #PRIDE2020! With more people learning what a nasty person JK Rowling is (which is surprising as her story has a guy who turned into a rat then TFed into a goblet), I thought I was draw some other fictional characters recontextualized with trans themes. 🏳️⚧️ #PrideMonth2020
This rivalry between Nana Mizuki and pink-hair white and silver armored sword-whip lady recontextualizes certain things for me...
I love #Orcs and I firmly believe that we should work hard to recontextualize them. Like, for example, as vaguely-french pinup-style playing cards 🐗💘
"This response to that stance is a digitally illustrated series that contextualizes patient health as both physiological and determined by social, economic, and cultural conditions."
@itsjustbeek Irothel, deeply offended and mildly overwhelmed by this big gold lad: “there is no Light involved it’s nothing but pure organic 110% love Elune juice!!! stop trying to contextualize our faith with irrelevant correlations!!!! Now here is a 20 page essay on why the moon is great”
@Borkforrester99 little drawing to contextualize the main pic
Research is often presented in “decontextualized ways” making it difficult for practitioners to apply to their context. This prompted @adamsethlevine to ask: "Do practitioners care to speak to someone w/ deep knowledge of the local context where they are?"
