As part of the Brocade Paper Week challenge, we present the gilted crest and flowery endpapers from an 18th century rare book in our collection. Previously owned by a Cardinal of the Catholic Church it is a prime example of Ecclesiastical heraldry.

Oh my goodness I’m speechless.
