#LancerRPG Horus Hydra, it can extrude horrible emojis to melt the brains and AIs of its opponents. It also has a pair of cannons that can only shoot at people who've shot people.
the good part of doing this box modeling is that you can duplicate and easily do all the fancy stuff you want for the high poly: extrudes, leather straps, rope textures, etc
bevel every edge that you want to be hard, use the Smooth command et voila! beautiful high poly (11/24)
Majora's Mask
Working on scrubbing up on my texturing skills in Substance Painter. In hindsight I should have modelled some depth, hand the eyes extrude a bit, etc.

@EmperorBigD Ah... now that you say that... I cannot unsee that.... great.....
Full pic what it suppose to look like. It’s suppose to be an extruded jacket collar.

This Pokémon makes clothes for itself. It chews up leaves and sews them with sticky thread extruded from its mouth.

Uhmmmmmmm. Holy crap, auto UV adjustment plus the new extrude options in #Blender 2.9 opens up a lot of possibilities for #LowPolyPixel workflows. Meshed this out in under 7 minutes.

tips on Isometric #pixelart:
I start with the base. Ground squares are rhombuses. Ground circles are ellipses. I then extrude that up, to make a column. Check out that barrel and rocks and dragon
Vertical circles are a bit harder, but there's a trick:
its important to not zremesh any parts as youre working. As a result, once the parts are finished, you can easily reattach them all by merging vertices in maya for example, creating one solid piece in the end that you can extrude for thiccness.
Question for my 3D wiz mutuals, if one is to go about modeling a stylized low/mid poly tree in Max, would it be easier to model the tree first and then texture it
Or would it be easier to paint the tree and make cut lines and ‘extrude’ or pull on the verts and edges?
Like so👇🏽
@MuglytheTank No worries! better pic here of an earlier stage, for the longer hair i just pulled out parts that i separated and could use zmodeller brush to add more horizontal edges to let it curve better. Once its all connected again then i just extruded it all and used polish by groups
@MattYouToo2 for isometric you need a good grid. Then you can use the ground tiles to extrude blocks or cylinders from the ground. It's like sclulpting
