Recently I changed my mark from bottom-middle to bottom-right corner of the picture, like between the two pictures below (before when I did watercolors, my mark was more towards the middle of the picture and in a thicker font, so it was even more obtrusive)

we wanted to attempt to convey the weird and eerie mood we're going for. he used Times New Roman, the most well known font, and interrupted the orientation of all the letters in various ways. a graphic designer's nightmare lol! it was clever and very pretty but too subtle for me!

This isn’t a sales pitch (promise!) but my book uses a standardised font, with upper & lower case. Alternately you could try Bunbun & BonBon by Jess Keating, Pea, Bee & Jay by Brian Smith or Narwhal & Jelly by Ben Clanton (the last uses all caps, but it a larger font).
