Since we're in Kara's POV, Brainy never actually tells us how he feels. But it's *shown* in subtle ways, beginning with how he only turns into an adorable stuttering mess around Kara. Just look at his face in the second panel omfg. He's so smol & his crush is SO big. 😭

The way Kara & Brainy are centered on the cover tells you right away that this is really going to be THEIR story. I love the glowing light of Brainy's time bubble, the weightlessness (esp of Kara's hair), their eye contact, & of course how they're holding onto each other
