Been using #Blender recently, getting back into #3DModelling after not having done much since college over 10 years ago.
Modelling out my OC, the Dark Lord. Lots of room for improvement, but surprised it's going so fast!
As I've said in an earlier thread, Corben does not over-render his figures. The intense colour is deceptive. The light areas in his paintings are typically more subdued than one might think. Convert the new cover to greyscale, and subtle modelling of the forms becomes obvious.

(7/9) -Took a lot of inspiration & reference photos in rural Japan, trying to get pictures of fog & old run-down towns as reference.
-Environments were made w/a mix of photogrammetry data, hand crafted modelling, & UE4 tools.
-Two big themes of the trailer & SHf is "Fog" &
Setting up all of the 3D sketches for the surface 'scratches' on the #Stargate Staff weapon. From this I will use the sketches to create surfaces that I will thicken and then subtract from the handle to create the scratches. #3DModel #3dmodelling

Also, this is the oc that I am gonna do in MMD. For the hair, I'm not sure if I should try modelling it or just edit a downloaded MMD hair.
Going to kill the texturing as its showing up my shoddy modelling, but I like the look.

been trying to get into 3d modelling again after taking short break, since I've had LobCorp on the mind I wanted to do Laetitia's E.G.O weapon because she is my favourite :)
It was really fun arriving at the final scene for the character, I even tried some 3D modelling!
