Here's the initial version of the boot screen for my arcade cabinet. It's a combination of sprites from the PICO-8 postcard image and 's food sprites (https://t.co/mickcJ1dmO). Eventually the plan is to swap the sprites for ones from my own games.

Finally decided to get off my butt and do some more pixel art. Here's the continuation to the Pokémon in the PICO-8 pallet, this time its the Kanto eeveelutions along side Eevee. I tried to make some more dynamic poses, and I think I did a pretty good job.

Working with a minimalistic colour palette for NES development. Only three colours per sprite are allowed (the 4th colour is transparent). Phew 😱. I think we are getting somewhere. 🎨 Kawaii style 😅

I decided to make a coloured version of the Pokémon sprites using the PICO-8 pallete and added Pikachu too because why not?

I'm actually pretty proud of the Pikachu.

The Charmander looks kinda dopey though.
