50 Years of Top Flight Kits: 2005-06

The set of kits I had to illustrate in a hurry as the deadline for my 1st book approached!

Some great strips (Bolton, Arsenal) some not so good (Portsmouth, Spurs) IMO.

Incredible that Lonsdale were the company with the most kits this year!

JD Fergusson secured a commission from the Ministry of Information for a series of paintings of Portsmouth Dockyard. He spent six weeks there gathering sketches from which he went on to paint a distinctive series of works now know as his Portsmouth Dockyard series.
