I have been so happy with my art progression from the last 4 months or so, its been a hobby that I never believed I could do but now I wanna get into illustration as a job one day 😄 well done me.

It feels like Ive worked on Simon Sues 2.0 forever, but it's been < 2yrs 😆 Looking at S1 to S2 makes me 😱 Just goes to show how great pencil mileage is!

1st attempt at digital painting is a tentative success. I assume I did this the most backwards way possible, with one brush and the smudge tool, but I think this amazing pic of came out well considering my digital art knowledge is 0

Today’s daily.
Better profile, eyes are lying tilted in the sockets, neck ist actually connecting to the head in a more natural way.
I think I can see some improvement, however small it might be.

Today’s daily. I paid closer attention to the eyes and tried blocking in the ears a lot earlier.
The profile is still a bit weak.
Still lots to learn and get better at - steadily working on it!

Did an inking/coloring study using 's pencil work as a jump off point. Exercises like this give me an opportunity to just play around with alternate colors schemes, something I don't do enough of.
