from water bear, to eel, and even basilosaurus the Shuswaggi has many whispered identities. Playing off of the idea that turtles can grow moss on their backs I figured perhaps that's where the pelt comes from on this Shuswap Lake monster.
In the 1800’s, the bones of a sea serpent were discovered. Scientists named the reptile, Basilosaurus. As it turns out, they were...not quite right.
