@mattcrotts @DonalTDeLay Big fan of both you guys’ work and wandering into this convo late.
I’ve played with blurring…in my humble opinion it looks weird because it breaks the linework/brush strokes.
Depth of field can be done just as crearly via contrast and level of detail.
Recent thing by me:
100 brushstrokes for @Bull_sama
Started a little shakey on this one but I think I pulled it off!
100 brushstrokes headshot for a certain kobl. @CaaaarrrrllArt
Generally happy with this one. It's got good shapes, varied edges, and the colors are functional.
I'd like to see what I can do with colors in the next one.
Didn't work out like I wanted. I didn't plan this study out at all. Painted the sky without leaving the white of the canvas for the cloud, didn't give the gouache time to dry before adding new strokes. The values are off. Just a lot to learn from to do this better next time
Gm, Happy Friday 💜
A little break from 3D today to make room for spontaneous brushstrokes 💫
Guys, I want to support a talented illustrator today @anjellysa
I love her color palette and the freedom of her paint strokes. It's amazing!!!
Yesterday Anfisa's ipad broke, I think you know how hard it is to be without a working tool, let's support her🌺🔥

I guess the strokes in my drawings have softened(¿
I love it~ 🌸✨ https://t.co/XHgILTyKm7
render style diff in a span of 16 days 🥹 i hated how i rendered the left one bc it looks so dead and dull,, i also hated how smooth the skin is 😭 i wanted obvious brush strokes and texture
102 brushstrokes! For Atticus. Gifted by a cute yeen. Much more successful!
These are all individual strokes. Sometimes I feel like the detail I put into stuff is overlooked. 🥲
Another pic done on Different Strokes! Who's in the mood for Mug root beer?
@lucasaielo Thanks! its all just from these 4 brush strokes as the texture
[ I'll hold you close and show you you're not broken. ]

upgraded to csp 2.0 and i found that my brushes have become a lot more reactive in brush strokes. also the slight blending improvement is nice ig.
#suyadtiys hello @mausuya :3
u can still see the strokes there im very lazy at rendering 🙏
New pic done on Different Strokes! Found a canvas with a prompt that wanted it to be edited with two characters kissing, so I went with making a pic of Lavender and James kissing.
