November is a big time for #ゴジラ and to celebrate it, I’ll provide my love to the franchise every day of this month, like an #Inktober but different lol. It’s time for a #Godzillathon
Day 1 - Shin Gojira
Up next: Titanosaurus.
Welcome #Punatitan_coughlini & #Bravasaurus_arrierosorum by Hechenleitner et al 2020. & they describe an egg locality that spans over 3 km! Punatitan & Bravasaurus might be the 1st colossosaurian titanosaurians in NW Argentina. (Colossosauria is also the best clade name)

Ogresuchus’ name comes from the speculation that it might have been eating young titanosaurs in the nesting ground where it was discovered, like the baby-eating ogres of legend. #fossils #AtoZcrocs #Croctober

It also lived alongside alongside similarly large dinosaurian predators Bahariasaurus and Carcharodontosaurus, the titanosaur sauropods Paralititan and Aegyptosaurus, crocodylomorphs, bony and cartilaginous fish, turtles, lizards, and plesiosaurs. Artwork by Davide Bonadonna.
"Titanosaurus Extreme" concept commissioned as part of a Godzilla fan redesign series.
Someone in my server (nicknamed PenguinLord) pointed this out about Rare Thrumble when it was first teased and dang they were pretty spot on about its inspiration. (well if it was intentional)
But yeah Rare Thrumble somewhat resembles Titanosaurus from the Godzilla series.

As Phase Two begins in NYC, the major museums, I’ve heard, are beginning curbside pickup. Sadly, there seems to be a pretty long wait for things like Bosch and Jackson Pollock, and the Titanosaur may not even be available!
I’m picking up this helicopter from MoMA later today.
@Ashtrooper20 No new Argentinosaurus skull material was found/described to my knowledge, but it does resemble other skulls of loosely-related titanosaurs.
