October 4, 2013:

A late-season Central Plains outbreak brought a number of strong/violent tornadoes to Nebraska and Iowa.

Two mile-wide EF4s were confirmed, one in Wayne, NE and the other near Pierson, Iowa.

18 tornadoes were confirmed and 17 people were injured.

I considered making Dragon DX's Leaf Tornadoes and Dragon Cyclone gold as well, but ultimately decided against it. There'd just be too much gold on the screen.

When migrating these dragons form enormous flocks. They are some of the fastest flyers among dragons and a migrating flock can whip up a whirlwind, which sometimes grow into actual tornadoes. Flocks of green swallow dragons are often referred to as "dragon tornadoes".

This is like Sandy but a more compact storm. I am working but no way I'd chase this hurricane.
