NFTs are fun and all, but have you ever tried generating fractal color gradients in python and ended up with a slightly angry looking cat? 😸

I started by making a bunch of color schemes in photoshop, and using those to generate palettes which I saved as individual textures. (The palettes include gradients between shades in case I don't stick with the cel-shaded look later on)... [1/4]

Seeing Affinity Designer doesn't have a "Blend" function/ tool making a fluid design 'by the book'/ following tutorials wasn't an option.
Doing it with gradients - worked!

thicker lineart! this makes the art pop a bit more, and gives the eyes something to focus on! other than that, experiment with shapes in the background! gradients are great, but I've always found a nice few shapes like these are great!

version without the gradients that’s a bit easier on the eyes + a really quick edit / screenshot fake bc i needed an avatar for her TH... and currently remaking it into an actual drawing as we speak lol

I love it! It looks so thick and fluffy, and I love how you've used gradients here. Very nicely done!
