NFTs are fun and all, but have you ever tried generating fractal color gradients in python and ended up with a slightly angry looking cat? 😸
The Angel Borca is out now
Equipped with the softest of grey colouring, some gentle grey gradients and a cute white underbelly, the Angel Borca will easily steal your heart! 👼💕
Give this cutie a RT if you're feeling 𝒜𝓃𝑔𝑒𝓁𝒾𝒸! 🔁
Want yours?

I started by making a bunch of color schemes in photoshop, and using those to generate palettes which I saved as individual textures. (The palettes include gradients between shades in case I don't stick with the cel-shaded look later on)... [1/4]
angel borca is coming soooooon!
soft grey with white under belly and some gradients on arms, legs, head and tail💕
Seeing Affinity Designer doesn't have a "Blend" function/ tool making a fluid design 'by the book'/ following tutorials wasn't an option.
Doing it with gradients - worked!

@GhostGlaive thicker lineart! this makes the art pop a bit more, and gives the eyes something to focus on! other than that, experiment with shapes in the background! gradients are great, but I've always found a nice few shapes like these are great!
version without the gradients that’s a bit easier on the eyes + a really quick edit / screenshot fake bc i needed an avatar for her TH... and currently remaking it into an actual drawing as we speak lol
i finished(kinda) my flats so its onto gradients and shading! i messed a bit of the flats up though so i might need to fix them before going forward haha;;
@fatalplush ill make an actual plush ref if i win since she involves a lot of gradients digitally, but tysm for the op <33

@TheArtistAurora I love it! It looks so thick and fluffy, and I love how you've used gradients here. Very nicely done!
