I don't currently RP much but I do love WoW and creating OCs so this is my favourite: Noviras. They're a void-elf mage, working for the Kirin Tor. Absolutely as nerdy as you'd expect them to be. They can be somewhat oblivious to certain social norms/cues but they are lovely!

Sometime ms just going for it works well.. but I find even just a quick sketch ( they never are..I enjoy sketching most of all, so they turn into full blown studies) helps with composition. Below is a canvas of Raven Tor done without a sketch. It's all wrong compositionally.
