Some ambient studies I did from reference. Learning how to be more efficient with brushstrokes. Still a long way to go :)

A medley of color tumbles from the vase in this impressionist still life painting. The brushstrokes are lively and full of motion, capturing the beauty of the peonies and ranunculus blooms.

By the way, I love digital painting so much. 💕 There's something very therapeutic in blending colors with brushstrokes. I'm happy that designing new patterns lets me explore this technique more!
Once I'm more fiancally stable I'll paint more personal projects for sure! 👌

Cézanne's ‘constructive brushstrokes’ and use of colour make a deep impression on younger painters, such as Maurice Denis, Paul Gauguin and Paul Signac, who will follow his example. 🏛
