don't have anything new for #mermay (yet?) so here's a merAU throwback from 2017! i wonder if i should redraw this again... i'm not so good with redraws because i just end up copying exactly instead of doing an updated interpretation, but maybe it'll be an interesting exercise...
Got the results back today pretty quickly from my ultrasound. I have a "fatty infiltration of the liver" which is basically fatty liver disease, or the step before it at least. (No gallstones though!) Only way to get rid of it is to eat less and exercise. New Kraid remix tomorrow
Been a while since I've done a large scale pixel-art piece (as in, bigger than character sprites) and I forgot how fun it could be, there's something about finding the balance between detail and readability that makes it a really cathartic exercise. Altar painting for Zealot.
On the bright side, being late for class everyday must be great exercise.
Mother's Rules #9: "Stretch is just as important for daily activity as it is for exercise. Try to stretch during the day."

My OC Kim! She’s a sporty girl who loves to exercise. My first OC that I love to draw so expect more of her soon
Mother's Rules #8: "Always take a few minutes for exercise. My personal favorite is squats to keep my rear in shape."
Revisited a project from last year and worked on some things. It was an encouraging exercise.
Here's what the map looks like! There are a few errors in it but it was a good exercise. Normal maps use colors to tell the lighting engine what angle the light is hitting any given pixel on a texture so that there's nice looking form shadows without being resource intensive.
Used the new Pokémon for a drawing exercise. Looked at them for 30 seconds each and drew them from memory in 50 seconds
This is my end of the trade with @MrPawDraw ! I had a great time darwing this, it was a good art exercise.

A modest, linear adventure map spanning abstract techbase to Hellish bowels to a floating island in the sky that's very evocative of The Shores of Hell's ending screen. A fun exercise.
