Today marks the 40th anniversary of the death of one of the most influencial cartoonists of all time. His name is Tex Avery. He's the man who made such iconic animated characters like Bugs Bunny, Droopy, among others. He was born in 1908 and died in 1980. We all gonna miss him.

Finished my big art sequence with Dog Hunters from Tex Avery "Lucky Ducky" at last. It started like one drawing idea, but evolved into MUCH bigger thing, you see. Not a fan of real bloody painfull gore, but it's a toons, they always got deadly harmed but stay safe in all cases🤷‍♂️

W/B originals of my latest pieces with Tex Avery characters from "Slap Happy Lion" 1947 episode + some colored bonus. As you can see, even silly backward traditional artist like me can do some of those "alternate versions" modern tricks. Think I will use it a lot in future works
