Also, after a lot of faffing around, my current process lets me resize but keep all the textures and line widths consistent like a vector. Here's a smaller one. #illustration #plants #drawing #painting #art
wanna see something funny though
her eye is the same width as her leg🤡
pretty much To The Pixel
Kourosh Beigpour presents “Dots and Dot Positioning in the Arabic Script Based on the Nastaʿlīq” where he explores the width, size and shape of the dots used in the Nasta’liq, Chalipa and the monumental Thuluth calligraphic traditions at #TypeCon2019! @KouroshBeigpour
Actually nevermind I was able to replicate it pretty well by changing line widths and stuff
My line art has gotten wayyyy better!!
Neater lines makes art look so much better! Plus knowing what width to use for lines on characters just makes it look really good too!!
And the fact that I started to make my lines pointed makes it look wayyyyyy better!! I’m proud tbh!!
Alright, last one today maybe. Not sure if I prefer the cleaner thicker lines or the sketchy lines from before or the single width clean lines.
But I'm having fun drawing these and getting some things down on file to play around with!
Hey there #indiedevhour! Today we have Ur's updated sprite. Once again not too many changes. Just did some extra shading and fixed the width of the shoulders.

Another upload I was pleasantly surprised people enjoyed showcased my monster!Flug, which I needed to invent for a dreamwidth rp. I've gone through a few different looks but this last one commissioned by @madredhattie really took the cake. #Villanos #villainous #Flug #Blackhat
Done the other half~
Changed the width of the edge so it’s thicker = w =

One of the initial goals with Qiyana was for her to be apart of a new race in Runeterra of metal people from a new continent. (These concepts) However Riot lacked time and bandwidth to develop an entirely new continent during her development cycle and pivoted for Ixtal instead
I wanted to try actually paying attention to line width and also I never really cell shade anymore
Anyway this character is really cute
I thought I had posted these 2 a while ago but I suppose it slipped my mind. Reflecting I've been using the opacity (I think it's called) brush for the most part. Controlling the pressure for line width kind of felt weird and ended up too thin at thinnest I felt.
blocking in some molly 💫
i get really frustrated with a lot of artists horn decorations bc most of them are just gold rings snapped around the width and thats like 🤷♀️ really boring, if u ask me
Tell me... how heavy is this (presumably solid metal) cylinder, considering it is the width of his damn head? 🤔
How to Create Characters Using the Width Tool in Adobe Illustrator https://t.co/bMMtCF6Gwe
I have found a great course and a great instructor on Udemy. This is Lindsay Marsh's Logo Design Course, and in the first project, I learned to use the width tool. Almost all of this was created by contorting a simple straight line.
