Been trying to change my style to a more anime like direction and it's been pretty fun! Haven't drawn in some time and it's really been making me want to draw more!
I'm glad I can get back into drawing again, even if I won't be drawing much Warrior Cats stuff anymore.

An old little game mockup that I helped with ideas for art direction. It was supposed to be a typical demolition flash game, where there are different detonators with different effects, I had the idea to bring the theme of demolition to a fantasy universe.🧙‍♂️💫

I don't really have any qualms with the remakes art style all that much, but I decided to make a couple of mockups with a different direction.

Not perfect by all means but I wanted to stretch the creative muscle on what I wanted it to look like 💎⚪️

Yeah! The first image is style tests I did in early 2017. The other images are even older illustrations that give a sense of how I was painting back then. I think you can see I was headed in this direction, I just needed to be a bit more intentional with my backgrounds.

These are some okay ears. A little tapered at the bottom for my taste but pretty recognizeable horse ears. Do wish they would the direction of the ears more for mood u_u

I think a more earthy element to the 2nd evo would be good, like some sort of slate plating. As for the worm, I like the concept but I think the direction the head goes in kinda messes with the flow the body seems to going for? Maybe something like this?
